about me
Hey, I'm Ali, the creator of this website. I'm awful at these "About Me" pages, but I'll try my best to tell you the important things.
- I'm a teenager, a freshman attending high school in the US.
- I play and perform the viola in school, in my local youth symphony, in a church orchestra, and around the community sometimes. You could call it my life passion, I guess.
- Like most teenagers, I love music. Being so involved in music, I think, gives me a unique appreciation of it, and I'd have to say that I love most everything. I have a really hard time describing my favorite "genre", but I really like classical, old rock, indie, and some of the stuff you hear on the radio. If you're interested, I'd love to talk music with you. :)
- I'm also involved with theatre at my school. I love acting, it just seems like a natural thing to do. However, I'm involved with tech (stage crew FTW!) and it's a blast.
- I'm a cross-country and track runner. Although I am extremely unathletic and my short stature (5'0") and lack of ability pose as obstacles, I still try and love the sports. My school's xc motto: "Cross country is fun, when you're not running!"
- I'm a nerd and a straight-A student. Be jealous of my 4.6 GPA.
- I love poetry. I love reading it, writing it, dissecting it, savoring it, just marinating in it! The written word is absolutely beautiful.
- Hanging out with my friends makes me happy, so happy indeed. I'm fortunate enough to have the best friends in the world. :)
- I have a twin sister, Alexandra. She's alright, sometimes. :P
- As you can tell, I love web-design. Graphic design, while fun, isn't as enoyable as web-design is, for me, which is why you'll often see more css-tweaks or tutorials than any substantial content updates.
- I love to talk to people! Random strangers over the internet are great, and I'll talk to pretty much anyone about anything. Given they aren't, like, creepy stalkers or whatnot. But seriously, if you want to talk about whatever, you've found your chica.
